I have a simple tip for you to reduce your cravings for sweets. Going low-carb for the first time can be difficult for some people. The cravings are out to get you! The NEED for SWEETS, right!? One of the main reasons why it is hard to let loose of sweets is that your cells are losing sensitivity to glucose and insulin when you are a regular indulger in sweets. The more sweet stuff you eat, the less sensitive your cells become to sugar. This means you need more and more sugar to generate energy in your cells. So when you reduce or even stop eating sugar, your cells will cry for energy -> cravings. The less sensitive to sugar, the larger the cravings. So here is a simple practical tip to re-build the sensitivity of your cells quickly. Cinnamon Tea! Cinnamon increases the sensitivity of our cells to glucose and insulin and thereby reduces cravings and increases our energy. You will need LESS sugar for MORE energy! Just toss two sticks of cinnamon in 2 liters of boiling water, add some salt and squeeze some lime in it and voila, your CRAVINGS KILLAH. Drink it throughout the day to make your transition to a sugar free life easier. And you know what else improve your cells sensitivity to sugar and insulin? MOVEMENT! Go at it!

May the FLOW be with you!
